The Doctor Who Experience

Claire is a big fan of Dr. Who. It turns out that there is an exhibition on in London called "The Doctor Who Experience". Naturally, Claire wanted to see it.

So. Her event, her project. Claire's mission was to research and navigate the two of us from Bath to this exhibit by public transport. She had to lead the way.

We'd already spent a day in London using public transport, and she had her own map and a book. And my helpful cousin pointed her to the national rail's journey planner.

Pay attention, dad! We have to wait for a District Line train. Not the Circle Line.

Seats on the underground are actually quite comfy if you can get one. The London Underground is so much better than anything in Australia.

This way.

OK, this is cool.

My daughter, the geek.

Yep. A geek.

For me, the costuming was the highlight. My grandfather and great grandfather were tailors - so maybe it is in my blood?

Tardises. W/ever. But Claire was into it.

Note the toilet plunger.

Fruit at a Persian corner store. London is now full of Persians. They have nice "corner store" style shops, and I am Australian enough to prefer a corner store to a Tescos. We bought some nice middle eastern stuff for lunch.

Remember "The Witches of Eastwick"??

Mission accomplished. Well done Claire!
